Concrete Patios

Concrete Resurfacing in Denver. What is it and how does it work?

Concrete resurfacing is done by applying a thin layer of a special type of cement over your existing concrete. Lets look at the Pros and Cons of Concrete Resurfacing: PROS- Resurfacing is Affordable!  Depending on the project, concrete resurfacing can be less than a 1/4 of the price vs full concrete replacement. Resurfacing can be a great option to hide cracks, deteriorated concrete surfaces, and stains such from oil. Resurfacing is also a quicker option and dries fast. CONS- If the soil underneath the concrete that is being overlaid keeps shifting, your cracks you wanted to cover will eventually come through the overlay. Due to us not knowing the soil conditions, we offer a very limited warranty for overlay services. Also, though the color of the overlay is a gray like the color of concrete, it will look have a different appearance than existing concrete color. Concrete overlaying, though it’s a fraction of the cost, nothing will last as long or look as good  as a full concrete replacement.
